About Us

Active Inclusion (Inclusive Sport SA) is a small organisation focused solely on building active and inclusive communities in the sport and recreation sector of South Australia. For more than 40 years, we have advocated for the inclusion of disadvantaged and marginalised people into community sport. Our new strategic plan has us focussed on building inclusive spaces and places, building the capacity of the sport and recreation sector, leading inclusion discussions and maintaining a sustainable business.

About the Role

Active Inclusive leads the innovative “Game changing. Period.” program and we are looking for someone to help drive the program for the next 12 months. Game changing. Period. aims to change the narrative surrounding periods and remove associated stigma by encouraging open, supportive and informed conversations that encourage a sport and recreation community to be inclusive.

The key responsibilities of the Project Lead will be:

• Planning and booking of training sessions, meetings and other small events
• Drive our website and social media accounts
• Track and follow the progress and outcomes of our projects
• Assist in the writing of reports and best practice inclusion resources
• Writing of media releases and communications
• Assist in answering basic questions from enquiries vie phone and email
• Engage regularly with the partners of programs

The role offers:

• 3-4 days a week with the possibility of increasing in the future (0.6-0.8 FTE)
• Salary of $75,000 – $95,000 pa. based on skills and experience
• Salary sacrifice

• 12 month contract

About You

We are seeking someone with a passion for inclusion and social justice. Someone who wants to come to work knowing that they are making a difference. The successful person will be able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. They will have a strong understanding of inclusive practice and be highly proficient in administration.
