2024 FESTIVAL OF SPORT INDUSTRY CONFERENCE RECAP
THAT IS A WRAP ON THE 2024 FESTIVAL OF SPORT!
The festivities kicked off on Wednesday afternoon with an official opening by Hon. Katrine Hildyard MP.
Jake Jones, the LIV Golf Senior Vice President of Impact of Sustainability offered a surprise for our attendees and dialled in from overseas to have a meaningful chat about the recent LIV Golf event.
We were then fortunate enough to hear from our keynote speaker, the CEO of the Australian Sports Commission, Kieren Perkins OAM. During his keynote, Kieren provided the attendees with some new perspectives and insights into the preparation for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the opportunity of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. His discussion covered uniting the sport sector and the importance of a inclusive and sustainable sporting system.
A big thank you to presenters Janelle Cuthbertson, Vice-Captain of the Port Adelaide AFLW team and Luke van Kempen from the Helix Group!
